El Proyecto de la Biografia
For this project we had to pick a famous Spanish Speaking person. I decided to chose Pablo Picasso because I have never knew much about him even though he is a very famous artist. We had to create a description of our character and what they did in their lifetime. We had to conjugate the words we were using to make them correct. We also had to use the preterite and the imperfect because of description is past tense. After we finished making our descriptions we had to memorize it and record ourselves resisting it. To finish our project we make a piece of art that resembled our artist.

Reflection
We started the project off with two different calaveras. One was about Amy Schumer and the second one was about a chef. We also wrote one about someone we loved and they passed away. At the end of the project we had an exhibition at the Animas Theatre. Our refinement for this project was to rewrite the calaveras several times until they had no errors. After this project I feel like I have a better understanding about Dia de los Muertos and what the culture is really about. |
El Raro Que Soy - La Refleccion Del Proyecto
In this project we had to write a long letter about ourself that we would be sending to people the same age as us in Mexico. One thing I learned in this project was how to say a couple words that I normally use all the time in English to Spanish. Before we were assigned to describe our family members and friends, I had little to no understanding for how to describe people. Now describing people is fairly easy. I feel like I put a lot of time and thought into my art piece. I really enjoy making art so I really wanted to to a colorful and fun piece that people would enjoy. If I had to refine my art I would make sure I spell the spanish words correctly next time before I write permanently on my art piece.
